Black women are the cause of the downfall of black families, as well as black men who aren't stepping up to the plate. I'd also like to mention that this is coming from a young black woman.

In the 1940s, 19% of black children were born out of wedlock.

I have been alone for two full months now. I managed to pull through the holidays without a heavy crash. I've had some relatively insightful moments. I continue to feel good about myself. Not working nearly as much as I'd like right now, but I planned for that. I've avoided all and any low class pot shots at my ex. even sent her a Christmas card wishing her good luck in the future. I feel like I am making good choices and that is enough to sustain me for now.
