Sunday ~~ February 16, 2014 ~~ Another week has started...

It has started on my calendar anyway. For whatever reason I have always thought of Sunday as the starting day of the week. I know so many others think Monday is the start of the week however, to me Monday is the start of the work week only and Sunday is the start of the weekday week. Sunday is the day I have always started anything new like a diet or trying to break a bad habit. So Sunday is my own personal start something new day.

My husband has been home for a wee bit over a week...

Forget that it's just another cheesy title, but the Vacation Man really is about to take the road again. Time for another round of rest from the stress of work. Time to hit the roads of the great state of Texas as a way to relax, seeing more and more of the things that made my homeland what it is.

Robots may Replace Half the Work Force

Robots are getting "smarter" and more agile by the week. A report on PBS February 13, 2014, showed not only that automation is gaining ground but the segment ended by saying that within 20 years; robots will replace half the work force.
When I bring the subject up around the coffee table where me and my retiree friends meet, they are dismissive, saying that we can adjust, meaning of course that their children or grandchildren can adjust.
Yet everyone sitting around the table...
