Still waiting for my chance to leave this town, to settle down in a bigger city, to buy a house..but I know I have to be patient for God to put the right elements in my life in the right order.

So, once upon a time, there was supposed to be a big thunderstorm event in my part of the big Dallas-Fort Worth area. My neighborhood got nothing. Other people got some much-needed rain. Some forecast. Yes, we need rain, but there are times when the National Weather Service likes to play with my emotions.

An essential tool in the creation of prosperity in a community is railroads of all types. It is knowing how to fund them. They are self funding, however we allow the growth they create to appropriated by private individuals and organizations. Few rail networks are viable via ticket price. The real funding is reclaiming the "economic rent" they create. Feed the economic rent back into the rail tracks and we will all have superb self funding transportation.
