A colorful day

As I read directions for Nice'nEasy, I am eager to put on the "Expert Colorist Gloves". Seems an easy way to become an expert at something. Having donned one glove I tell the cat "Now I'm half expert". Soon I'm going through the ritual of squirting stinky stuff in lines through my hair.
Why? You may ask.
Because, until the day I decide to go full-on gray, I'll keep coloring. Nothing dramatic. Just something to color the roots. There's no excuse for walking around...

Mother Was Wrong

Well mother was wrong! Wrong when she said that people knew the price of everything and the value of nothing. Today's paper said it cost the tax payers, $ 23,000.00 to provide security and keep the peace at last Sat's. neo-Nazis gathering in Chattanooga. Who knew? Who knows how much it cost the city of Boston to provide security for the big marathon? After the big flood in Fl., who knows how much it will cost that state to rebuild?
At the same time how do we calculate all the wages and/or...

Let me explain, she said we had to go up from $ 53 per quarter to $ 84; wow I said, that's a jump. Now with tax I am paying $ 1 per day for the newspaper. Then I got to thinking, people pay that for a cup of coffee, a candy bar or a bag of chips. Yet reporters work many hours, pressmen work through...
