I just finished reading the National Bestseller, Chosen by a Horse. I found these words near the end stunning and remarkable.

Found out last night you took your own life a nearly a year ago. wth, man? She wasn't worth it. I hope you're with the Father now.
I'm thankful for the time we worked together in the Marine Corps. God bless those who mourn.

Scandinavian Queen

Kindness

I realized the meaning of kindness on Sunday.
My son finally wanted to go fishing on Sunday. While in Santa Barbara pier, I ordered some clam chowder and sat on an umbrella covered table and chair. Shortly after, a lady arrived who liked my table, so she invited the rest of her family to join. The rest of tables were either taken or did not have an umbrella.
