Mother's Day

Posted 05-11-2014 at 08:10 AM by hunterseat (Keeping it Kind)

Such mixed feelings! I live a ways from my mom. She rarely answers the phone. If I visit she can only stand about a half hour visit even after years of not seeing her. I love her, of course. She is who she is. She's older but nothing's changed in many years. When I see women her age still riding horses, I wonder why my mama is the way she is.
My own kids live a ways from me. They rarely call. Not really true, the youngest calls when he's hungry and standing in front of a Chinese Restaurant....
Life is short so ride your best horse first.

Here's To You, Mothers ---- Enjoy Your Day!

Posted 05-10-2014 at 07:25 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

That time is rolling around the bend once again. Later today, I'm going to take some time and spend it with my mother. I'm doing it this morning because I have to work tomorrow, and secondly, she wants brunch. Reservations for two were already established at a local restaurant halfway between our abodes. Problem solved.

Online, too.

You've probably guessed it by now. Sunday is Mother's Day!

Hope you folks out there...
