Friday Morning Breakfast: There's Nothing Like It

Posted 07-11-2014 at 07:53 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

It's the most anticipated event of my week for most weeks. My last day of work is on Thursday and I don't have to go back until Sunday. For my first breakfast of my days off, that's the thing I always look forward to doing.

On Friday mornings, I generally go to a restaurant or café of my choice in my area and sit down to whatever I crave. There's always some steaming hot coffee to go with things like biscuits, French toast, regular toast, sausage patties, link...

Friday ~~ July 11, 2014 ~~ Let's talk about things that are lost...

Posted 07-11-2014 at 01:47 AM by CSD610

Things that are lost, some are helpful because you needed to lose them and other things are just downright annoying when they are lost. Keys being lost is annoying, a bad relationship being lost is helpful and good for you. Debit cards being lost is beyond downright annoying, especially when it is not the first time the debit card has been lost.

My Husband has lost his debit card yet again, we know it is with us and not out in the world because there has been no activity on the card...

The Summer of 81

Posted 07-11-2014 at 12:04 AM by aliasfinn

I had finished building an old truck that I bought for $300.00 that summer and decided to give it a good test run by visiting some cousins that lived in the Ozarks. It was a 1963 Chevy with a 350 small block engine that I had over hauled and was anxious to see how it would handle a long drive. I had not seen my cousins since they moved there back in the early 70s nor had I ever been in that part of Missouri. It was a long drive and the truck was running great, very smooth and I was surprised by...

Thankful Thursday 7/10/2014

Posted 07-10-2014 at 07:14 PM by jessxwrites89

Today I am thankful for some of my family members. After I went to Starbucks to use my free drink for my birthday (and buying a Willie Nelson CD), I went to my uncle's to swim. He said I can use his pool anytime (until I move... and he's looking to move as well). I had such a fun time swimming today; it was a nice hour just treading water, swimming laps, cannon balling and visiting with his beautiful chickens. It was nice.
