Bonnie and Clyde; Louisiana 1934

It you have read the history of Louisiana during the depression you can almost understand why it produced a Bonnie and Clyde. It doesn't excuse them and still holds them guilty both under the law and under the standards of human decency. Yet when a society holds out so little hope and provides so little opportunity while embedding it's people in a state of dullness,terrible things happen.

There is much truth to your statement. Having never had a television set, a divorce, a drug addiction, yacht, or airplane, I agree.

Another storm misses Florida

Florida gets the hype about storms and flooding especially with all the hoopla about flood insurance.

Another storm is bringing flood potential to the Carolinas and New England.

On hurricanecity.com Tampa ranks 20th on the list for times affected by a tropical storm or hurricane since 1871.
