Job done

My very last day at work. Went in early and some consulting work. Said my goodbyes to the nurses and then walked back to the main hospital to say goodbye to my fellow coworkers. I hate goodbyes. They're usually sad remembrance of good days gone by and moving forward. Like one of my techs said:" do you really have to move?"
Do I? Do I really have to change direction in my life? I didn't have to, but wanted to.. And then, I keep thinking does fate exist? It's been a question everyone...

When I was in 8th grade we moved to a new neighborhood that had a lot of woods and trails nearby. All the kids would ride their motorcycles back in thru there,including me. I had an old Suzuki 250 that I got in a trade and would ride it as soon as I got home from school. There was this creek located off one of the trails that seldom had any water, mostly rocks and branches. It was pretty wide and about 15-20 feet deep and there was an urban legend concerning it, at least I think it was an urban...

The Houston Astros are trying to prove to the baseball world that they will have some of the makings of a contending team. Sunday's game notwithstanding (an embarrassing 11-0 defeat to the Boston Red Sox at Minute Maid Park), they still have work to do in the second half.

Basically, the offense has shown some signs of life this year, and we have seen how capable they are of making things happen by initiating the first attack and taking advantage of their opponents' mistakes....
