My Brother in Law, Randy Elder died today...

He was a stodgy old character... Always going his own way, and doing his own thing.

I always thought I was going first, but, he decided that wasn't going to be the case.

He had a heart attack, then the ambulance came and he had another heart attack in the hospital, after they brought him back.

I shed more tears for him, than I did my own Dad, because he was a constant figure around our home. ...

I have a not-entirely-rational distaste for Chrysler products. Also, I have an entirely-rational scorn for their reliability ratings per various publications.

My dad was a Chrysler man, more often than not, though did own some Ford products too (three, that I know of, over a lifetime vs. roughly ten Chryslers). Men of all races should have conversations with their sons, as well as daughters more frequently. Consider the conversation as a pulse check on their moral character. The situation in Ferguson Mo., prompted another sit down with my son, just to see what his perspective is on the situation. I am proud to say that he exhibits almost the same sentiments I have.
