They predicted we would have severe weather tonight,so I was prepared. The power flickered then went off and I heard the tornado sirens screaming which translated to " Get your azz down in the basement you dumb fk. " I grabbed my flashlight and a pack of saltine crackers and down I went. I sat on a little foot stool next to the washing machine eating my crackers and waited for something to happen. I am thinking about relocating to the Norfolk area. I am not familiar with the area and am inquiring about the best part of Norfolk to reside for a single female. I would be looking to rent an apartment and would need to be within walking distance of a grocery store, drug store and bank, etc.

Someone suggested the area of Bay View, but I could not locate any apartments there for rent on line. Can anyone shed any list on this area or any other area that you would feel safe in walking...
