Local people are spending millions every year at emergency rooms! Almost anyone connected with emergency room treatment and service will tell you that most of those trips could be avoided. Avoided without any added risk to the person seeking treatment.

Hello San Diego! I visited you for a long weekend recently, from Seattle. Seattle is the sort of place people hop to during our gorgeous summers; you are the inverse, I suspect. First time I've seen you as an adult. Thoughts, and observations to follow. I've read a couple extensive threads about SD, and SoCal in-general, pros and cons. An outsider may have a different take that may be of-interest.

Great Article on mortgage rules

Will the new qualified mortgage rule create demand on the Mortgage Backed Securities side and in turn lead to the kind of environment we had in the early 2000's? It might be a positive step to making credit more available, but it's a slippery slope from there to the no-doc loan.

My Long Struggle with a Tormenting Sleep Disorder

I had a thread in the Health and Wellness forum regarding the torturous symptoms of my long term sleep disorder. I used it to get advice, suggestions on possible treatment and to record their variations, frequency and intensity as they hit me every night, so that I can gauge the illness and predict how bad it would be on a given night. It was important to me and my illness, though the moderator might not think so.

But for some unknown reason it disappeared mysteriously. I didn't ask...
