What I see in everything.

Posted 11-06-2014 at 04:18 AM by furqanarshad

I see positive part in everything.
I see its better to do good then expect someone to be good with you.
I like to struggle and rely on my continuous struggle rather than blaming my luck.
I believe change in life can come only through hard work and continuous determination.

I don't like to change the world, I just want to be someone that can be remembered.
I have patience to hear what other say about me but I try not to pass comments about everyone.

chronic diseases

Posted 11-06-2014 at 01:00 AM by nooshb

chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, etc. are really nothing but blessing in disguise!
they force you to take a hard look at your diet and lifestyle. Drugs cannot be your one and only way out of the problem. you have to look outside of box and try to change the way you've been used to eat, live..
Inconvenient at first? yes, but in the long run they actually save your life vs someone who has no warning and all of a sudden their health takes a nosedive.

Time Fades

Posted 11-05-2014 at 10:20 PM by JoshB

It is November 5th, 2014. Almost Midnight actually. Where have the last 5 years gone?

It's been almost 5 years since my wife and I first met. We've had our ups and downs. God has really tested me and helped me figure out who I am.

Some days I feel tired and ready to give up. 2014 has been a tough year. My brother lost his fiancee who passed away in July. Losing her has taught me to move on and forgive because someday it may be too late to say "I'm sorry."...

Scattershooting / Another Wrong Fast-Food Order

Posted 11-05-2014 at 06:30 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)
Updated 11-06-2014 at 03:47 AM by case44

It's that time again, folks. We've had Halloween. We've had an election. We're going to have Thanksgiving eventually (three weeks from this writing). But at this time, we're going to do some Scattershooting right here on Case's Column. Besides, that early Christmas shopping can wait a bit....

Just when you think fast food restaurants would have it together, when they understand your order, only for you to find out when the food...

Where seldom is heard an encouraging word

Posted 11-05-2014 at 03:31 PM by hunterseat (Keeping it Kind)

Do you remember singing that song as a kid? Home on the Range? My family was all about impromptu singing while riding in the car, while sitting around the kitchen table, or any time at all. We knew silly songs and verses (I Have Lost My Underwear sung to the tune of Bye Bye Blackbird) and we knew more somber songs like my favorite hymn "I’ll Fly Away".

I think it’s healthy for a child to spontaneously break into song and belt out a chorus of If You’re Happy and...
