Posted 02-03-2015 at 11:05 AM by HappyinCali

Last Laugh

Posted 02-03-2015 at 07:34 AM by aliasfinn

A woman came out pushing a shopping cart with one hand and pulling a little kid who was screaming and crying with the other. He looked to be about 5 years old and she was yelling at him " This is the last time I take you into the store with me, you just wait until we get home. " She strapped him into his little pumpkin seat on the passenger side and piled all of her groceries...

I-69 Update: We Now Have The First Exit Numbers

Posted 02-02-2015 at 05:15 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

As I speculated previously, Deep South Texas would get mile markers and exit number assignments for the Interstate 69 network. And it has now happened in the Rio Grande Valley. This past August, new signs were placed along each of the roadways to reflect the new changes.

Lucky Find

Posted 02-02-2015 at 03:46 PM by aliasfinn

I was in the old part of town recently and as I was walking down the sidewalk I spotted something wedged in between the crack. It was down kind of deep so I used my pocketknife to lift it up high enough to where I could pull it out with my fingers. It was an 1897 Morgan Silver Dollar. I got to thinking about the person who lost it, a hundred years ago some kid was probably running down that sidewalk to buy his week's worth of candy and it fell out of his pocket. I wondered if he cried when he found...
