Fake People

There exist certain people, particularly in some areas of this forum, who have clearly been natural born fakers all their life.

To most people they seem like friendly, decent even helpful members, but they pick and choose when to unleash their "dark side" to somebody, often unprovoked, or just out of a genuine usually covered-up contempt harboured deep within them.

The Novelty Song: Is It On The Way Out?

Through the years, it used to be a frequent thing to hear pieces of lyric and music called novelty songs in the music world. They'd be all over the place and would often refer to an event or particular person, and often with comic effect. Many times, they would be parodies of classics or original works. Back in the '60s and '70s, they were ever-present that you couldn't miss them.

Nowadays, if you turn on your radio, you don't hear these things on pop stations...
