She decided to move toward her parents bedroom door as quickly and quietly as possible.

Right when she was getting ready to reach for the door handle, the door flung wide open and all she could see was someone standing there with a flashlight shining in their face.

She screamed as loud as she possibly could and tried to run to the bedroom window but she couldn't move. Whoever was holding the flashlight grabbed her wrist and would not let go.

He softly...

Mission Control, The (Eagle) Cardinal Has Landed....

Posted 05-10-2015 at 02:40 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Okay, I didn't take off into space, but instead, something beautiful came out of the sky and landed on my car. That's right; it happened right in front of me at the cusp of the windshield right on top of one of the wipers. This was right as I was starting my car and leaving work for the day.

It was a little cardinal. A redbird, if you will. Just a beautiful little creature taking a respite from flying and spending his break on my windshield. It was all...

Aliso State Beach is the cleanest, least crowded beach in the area, Main Beach in Laguna gets crowded but is also fine IMO.
Thanks for the ideas, will look into...

Thank you, I hadn't thought of that, will definitely look into it! Need all the ideas I can get

Self Defense, I Feared For My Safety

Posted 05-09-2015 at 06:59 PM by aliasfinn

So I get in my car, roll the window down and head off down the road and while I'm driving a wasp crawls out from behind my sideview mirror and flies into my car. I start swinging at him with one hand as he keeps trying to tase me until he finally gets winded and settles on the inside of my windshield. As he is slowly crawling around the glass I get extremely pissed thinking about him coming into MY car and threatening me with bodily harm so I made a fist and flattened him right there on the windshield....
