I Want to Talk to Him

Posted 10-15-2015 at 06:24 PM by April R (My Emotional Affair)
Updated 10-15-2015 at 09:06 PM by April R

I read on a post that OG hadn't been feeling well. I didn't know because we had agreed to give each other space. We had also agreed to be just friends. But friends talk and friends are there for each other when they aren't feeling well. How can I be his friend if we can't talk anymore? My heart sank reading he wasn't well and may need to see a doctor and I'm not able to be supportive. I still care about him. I wish he'd talk to me. We haven't spoken since Tuesday and we used to message or talk...

I'm An Empty Vessel

Posted 10-15-2015 at 03:12 PM by April R (My Emotional Affair)

Today I've been keeping myself busy. I cleaned and scrubbed the kitchen from top to bottom. My husband came home from work early because he isn't feeling well so I've been making sure he's being taken care of. I even baked a loaf of egg bread. After making an early taco dinner I've had a chance for downtime and I realized how empty I feel.

I often rolled my eyes at people who claimed they felt incomplete or like they are missing a part of themselves and used this as a reason to explain...

Denver's Construction Defects Ordinance: make it simple

Posted 10-15-2015 at 07:37 AM by coloradohoaforum (Homeowners Associations (HOA))

State construction defects legislative reform has failed so localities do it themselves. Now it's Denver's turn. The goal for developers is to cut down on the number of and frivolous lawsuits. However, this always comes with too many caveats at the expense of home owner's rights. Home owner's (not represented in the debate) would like to be empowered on the use of their funds in litigation. Too often costly HOA litigation is pursued by HOA Boards and their lawyers without the knowledge or approval...

I'm Angry

Posted 10-14-2015 at 07:53 PM by April R (My Emotional Affair)

Remember that emotional roller coaster I wrote about a couple of blog posts back. Well, while grocery shopping tonight I experienced a new emotion, one I had yet to feel towards OG, anger. Like real, how dare he who the **** does he think he is anger.

Why was I angry? Because I'm still his secret. I told my husband everything because I respected OG so much my conscience couldn't keep him a secret. I have faith in my husband that he loves me enough to forgive me and work through...

Dirty Thoughts

Posted 10-14-2015 at 02:04 PM by April R (My Emotional Affair)
Updated 10-14-2015 at 04:39 PM by April R

The dirty thoughts are really hardcore in my head and won't GTFO today. The Other Guy (who will now be referred to as OG), his words, his voice, and his body are my kryptonite. I keep fantasizing about what I would do to him if he ever let me. I tried getting my husband to do one particular thing OG and I discussed, and OG talked about how he would relish the chance to do my bidding. My husband did it but said he found it unpleasant. My heart sank and I teared up, but we were in the shower so he...
