Doggie Adoption Story

I adopted a Boston Terrier from a rescue in Houston. I had recently lost my 11 year old Boston due to a brain tumor and had recently relocated to the area. I really love this breed, but had experience in raising only the one.


My new Boston is so very different from my original one. Their personalities differ in every imaginable way.

What defines a Townie?

There is a never-ending debate over what defines a townie in certain towns. Is it that your grandfather’s father had resided in the town? Or is it you have to live in that town for longer than 20 years? I did some research on the definition of being a townie, according to Webster, a townie is any resident that lives in a town where a university also resides and that individual may or may not attend the university.
