....that it was supposed to be just a nap. Actually, it wasn't even intended to be a nap. All I wanted to do for a few minutes was just lie down on the bed. I'd just cracked open a Dr Pepper and took my first drink.

Really. All I needed was a breather. Just lie down for a few minutes.

Well, a few minutes suddenly turned into...........

I have a puppy. She has a great nose. She can run across the yard, come across a cricket and plant her nose so fast her back end comes off the ground! Great nose! She's put a few miles on the old schnoz but she can still pick up a scent! You should see her get sidetracked on a walk. I don't know where her mind goes. I guess it follows her nose. And I follow her because there are hawks around and she's a very small...

As you can see, it's St Patrick's Day. And, yes, that was a green smiley. It's within reason for this post. Sure, the first of spring is in a few short moons from now, but today offers something just a bit more important. There's plenty of green all around, and not necessarily just on the trees or golf courses.
