"GUNSMOKE" my observations

Posted 04-04-2016 at 12:52 AM by aliasfinn

I have seen every episode of this show and these are my observations. Did you ever notice on some of the openings he actually gets beat to the draw by a good half second ? The guy he's drawing against taught him how to draw for the show, no wonder he gets beat. In one episode Dillon mentions how much he earns as a marshal, .50 cents a day. I know in a few episodes he slept at the Dodge House but most of the time he sleeps at the jail. I don't see how he can afford to live on that, he has to pay...

When you have no specific destination on your mind? Mine go faster than the speed of light in every direction and a few land from time to time to take a shape, invade my brain and either come out of my fingers in type or out of my mouth in voice.

Do I praise some, yes, do I offend others, yes, do I care enough to be concerned, most of the time no. I know that sounds harsh however, I do not get emotionally attached easily and my filter was already thin before the stroke and after...

If It Flies It Dies

Posted 04-02-2016 at 05:54 PM by aliasfinn

Another drone got blasted out of the sky, this time in Oklahoma. I have yet to see one but I understand they are very expensive. I remember when we had that Ferguson mess going on there was a guy that showed up with one in the trunk of his car. He asked a cop if he could fly it above the area to get pictures and the cop said it was ok. It wasn't in the air long before someone started shooting at it so he put it back in his car. If I ever get one I think I'll wait till they come equipped with deflector...

We could probably afford to go a little above but we will only be there 3 years (my husband is military) and we don't want a huge payment in case we don't sell right away or find a renter. I LOVE the homes and yards! If only we all had more money, right?

Sorry to hear that it didn't work...

The Artist (2011), Michel Hazanavicius ★★★★★

Movie of the week. Full of great scenes. The stairway scene, when Valentin and Zimmer (John Goodman) have their run in - the cut to JG's expression is not to be missed. Great cameos; Malcolm McDowell, Ed Lauter. [ Climbing the ladder to the top, on the way down to the gutter. He's now looking up at her, she's looking down at him - the tables have been turned. ] < hightlight...
