Gotta be patient. When I was their today it was only 30 people and I'm in the first 100 list numbers so it might be a couple weeks.

They are doing 3 classes this week (including mine today)

This competition is geared to more weirder 2d animations. Right now there is only 2 entries for the May competition. Our animation is called "Andy surprises the Walmart greeter."

This 10 second animation bit is based on an animation we did a few years ago called "Walmart." ...

I went on the interview today at 3:30 pm for the Administrative Assistant position. The interview lasted about 30 minutes, and I spoke to 3 people. The interview went OK. They told me they were really impressed with my resume - no typos, well designed and concise. That was nice to hear.

BTW, two of the people knew one of my ex-bosses, and a former co-worker of mine from one of my jobs a few years ago. Don't know if that is good or bad.

So, my latest obsession is urban gardening. We live in Fire Mountain in Oceanside, which is an older neighborhood with larger lots that lend themselves well to gardening. Let's face it, with the weather in San Diego, we can pretty much grow food all year round so it's very common to see large home gardens full of edibles in this area. Most of my neighbors have edibles in some form and many have full scale gardens taking up a large part of their lots. It makes for interesting over-the-fence conversations...
