PUTTING ON LOVE - PRAYING THE SCRIPTURES

I love You, God, because You first loved me. (1 John 4:19)
You sent Your only begotten Son, Jesus, to this earth out of Your love for me and for others. I have believed on Him and now, I will not perish - I have everlasting life. You did not send Jesus to condemn me, but to save me, and I thank You for that! (John 3:16,17)

Jesus instructed His disciples to pray..."Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" (see Matthew 6:10, Luke 11:2). As we pray as Jesus instructs, we are actually praying for Heaven to touch earth.

When Jesus came He brought His world to ours! He demonstrated the Kingdom of God on earth. His example of demonstrating God's goodness through signs, wonders, miracles and powerful demonstrations was meant to be teaching tools for us to do the same on earth...

It doesn't matter if I'm eating Italian food or Chinese food or even steak; wherever this writer goes for a good meal, a stain always wants to make its presence known.

Look, I'm usually careful when I eat things that potentially could cause stains, but it's always in that one hasty moment when I'm not thinking, caught up in savoring or in tasting or a fleeting thought or just plain getting it down.
