Rise Up My Beloved

Posted 12-27-2016 at 10:02 AM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

A move of God by definition involves God moving. Which means we may not "find" Him exactly where (or how) we have in the past – because He is doing a new thing. He is not changing, God never changes (Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8). But He loves to reveal more of Himself to us in greater and greater depths and dimensions so that we can know more of Him (and thus make more of Him known to the world around us).

He woos us into a greater revelation of all He is by leading us...

you are the result of the love of thousands.

I miss him now, I miss the days of lying in bed caught in the great romance of it all, ancient steps of my ancestors that led all the way to meeting him.The legends between that love.Feeling such passion for him and being able to escape into it.

All of it makes me want to read possession or watch it,to get caught up in the lives of two Victorian poets and all their little mysteries,Ive never read it.
I have started two novels of my own both about grand estates.

And The Choice For Now Is....Solitude

Posted 12-26-2016 at 07:44 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

I've made a choice in my life, but it doesn't mean that things won't change at some point. Staying single has been the best thing that's happened to me, some buzz-haired guy in Texas who likes to do a little writin' now and then. It beats being divorced, that's for sure.

Oh, yeah, one of these days, some nice lady will come along, we'll fall in love, become best friends, and then........BOOM! I have a help mate. Look, I'm not going to burn a blog...

Daily Meditations And Affirmations - 106

Posted 12-26-2016 at 06:46 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Luke 12:10 - "Everyone who will speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him."

Observation:

JESUS WAS PREPARED IN HIS HEART TO FORGIVE MEN BEFORE THEY EVER SINNED AGAINST HIM. HE KNEW HIS MISSION WAS TO DIE FOR MEN, NOT CONDEMN THEM. I AM TO DO THE SAME.

Romans 8:13,16 - "For if I live after the flesh, I shall die; but if I through the spirit to mortify the deeds of the body, I shall live....

Poll: When you think of buying a home, how important is the mortgage interest deduction to you?

Posted 12-26-2016 at 04:04 PM by MikeJaquish

We hear a lot of hype about the Mortgage Interest Deduction.
Real Estate agents routinely promote the value of buying a home due to the MID.
It makes me wonder how important that deduction is to for most homeowners.
I know that about a third of owners have no mortgage, ergo, no interest expense.
Anyway, I polled the CD Faithful on the CD Real Estate Forum to get some input on how valuable they think the MID is.
