A big event is going to happen in one week. We have not seen such a big doing in, oh, about 760 years.

And it would be dangerous to try to see it because you just can't look directly at it. I'm talking about the solar eclipse. Yep. Next Monday, the solar eclipse will be visible, in full, in many parts of the United States. My area will just get a partial. Telescope jockeys and stargazers will sure have a field day, but anyone can try to take a moment...

Bell's Fork/Firetower Business Bypass Proposal

Having seen the NCDOT quadrant plan for the Bells Fork area of Greenville, and not really liking the proposal; I thought up an alternative way to alleviate the traffic congestion on Firetower Rd from Corey Rd to Charles Blvd. My basic idea is to utilize the Old Firetower Rd corridor by building a very limited access four lane bypass adjacent to Old Firetower Rd for motorists that need to be in Bells Fork, but are not there to do business at the multitude of stores or offices in the area. First off, I have never read a blog, let alone written one. I am doing this for several reasons. I will focus on one reason at a time. I am a stroke survivor.
