That Woman Named IRMA

Posted 09-18-2017 at 12:07 PM by llrivero

So, I wanted to just share my story as a person who went through their first hurricane as a Florida resident... I have been here through other "threats"... and tend to follow the vibe of my husband, who went through Hurricane Charley, and lived to tell me about it. But this crazy storm of a size that no one had ever seen before, made me nervous. The images that were coming across the TV of the spanking Irma was delivering to the Caribbean were horrifying.

My view on history

Posted 09-17-2017 at 12:30 PM by ukrkoz

2. Human civilizations cycle through earth, with each civilization being representation of one of the primary human types - doer, trader, thinker, knower.
3. Current civilization is trader civilization. It is crystal clear fact, only madman will argue this.
Trader is a type of...

Astros Have An Opportunity To Celebrate The Way It Should Be

Posted 09-17-2017 at 08:09 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

The real celebrating wouldn't have happened anyway where yesterday was concerned. The Houston Astros, after all, did their part in an afternoon game with an 8-6 win over the Seattle Mariners at Minute Maid Park. All they needed was a Los Angeles Angels loss to the Texas Rangers. It should be noted that the bad thing about the timing of the two games would not lend itself to a proper Houston celebration. If only the Astros had played at night and the Angels earlier that day in Anaheim....

Lets do this.

If you don't like being around people who never drink ,because you think we're judging you, well you're right I am. So are other nondrinkers. I'm just honest about it.

I don't believe asexuality exists or the other terms in that movement. It just seems like it's denying biological reality. The drive to pair bond and mate is in everyone. I think they have a very low sex drive, but they do have one.

Transsexualism doesn't exist to me. A...
