Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC

I live very close to Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The park has meant many things to me at different points in my life from the time I moved here as a young adult in 1981 to the present.

When my kids were young, I took them to the playgrounds quite a bit. From the time it began, I attended concerts in the bandshell as part of the Celebrate Brooklyn concert series in the summer. Also along the lines of music, there is a NY Philharmonic concert in the park every summer; there is one in...
