In Response to Conservative Policies Being Good for America

This is a more scientific approach than it looks. The thread this post was in is kind of a trick question for those who actively follow the political landscape. Conservatism is a reactionary ideology. Therefore, it is actually devoid of policy being good for the collective state. Case in point below:
How is objecting to a open border and supporting a border fence a bad thing?
How is objecting to failed schools and supporting charter schools and school vouchers a bad thing
How is objecting to wasteful, expensive scam that is "green energy" and supporting Domestic Oil and Gas production, creating millions of jobs and trillions in wealth a bad thing?
How is objecting to bank bailouts, and support a free market a bad thing?
How is objection to give up american sovereignty to the United Nation and supporting american sovereignty by wanting to leave the United Nations a bad thing
How is objecting to political correctness and supporting common sense, basic observation, and reason a bad thing?
How is objecting to high taxes and excessive regulations and supporting a fair tax and capping regulations that aids the expansion of business a bad thing?
How is objection to laws that infringed on the right to keep and bear arms, and support laws that aid and support people to defend themselves a bad thing?

None of the questions you have asked have been actual policy governed by the right-wing. The failure of right-wing politics is that it is reactionary. It is impossible to come up with a right-wing policy that helped this country because right-wing politics doesn't include any policy!!!!!
The point of conservatism is to react and preserve the system in place. I highlighted your ideological response to my basic question. No policy; all objections. Conservatism is incapable of growth, change, or progress. Currently, the progressives control the White House. The knee jerk conservative reaction is to regress, by shifting further right. Compromise is unacceptable.
The moral of the story; if the country is to move forward... conservatism is like a parachute holding the country back. There is nothing wrong with challenging progress when applicable, but America is facing challenging times that require innovation and compromise rather than obstruction.

I disagree totally with that statement. Innovation is good for certain things, as America has always been creative and inventive, but conservative principles (the concept, by the way, is not an ideology) are the very things by which America was founded. That's how this country got to be successful by being different from other countries in allowing freedom for its citizens, with no government tyranny. We've always been a hard-working nation and have always believed in earning a living, success, and prosperity. It's always been a land of opportunity. Conservation encourages change and progress. Why would you want to be held back with leftist-initiated restrictions? Now, with certain social causes, compromise depends on certain situations, but we'd be here all day.
If you're suggesting that liberal policies and ideologies are going to be better for this nation, you'll end up sadly mistaken. As you've seen on the news, America has been far worse off the last five years. What we've built in the 233 years prior to that is currently being torn apart by our current federal structure.Posted 05-03-2014 at 06:19 AM by case44 -
100% in agreement. To Go Forward, press D (drive). To Go Backwards, press R (regress)
