But to answer your question - Yes it is far away from higher crime areas of Jacksonville. Not to knock other areas of Florida but Jacksonville is a great city and the surrounding areas wouldn't thrive the way they are without it.

Have you visited Nocatee yet? You can get a golf cart tour if you go to the visitor center. That will give you an idea of the different neighborhoods.

Thank you for the response. We are not looking for new construction. We did that when we moved here to DE and I’ll never do it again lol. We want a turn key young house. Definitely with a private pool as well as the whole community vibe with the pools and trails etc. we love to fish so something near the lake would be nice but not a must have. Schools are major factor and that’s why we chose St. John’s county. I love that we will be close to Jax and have that big city feel again.
I hear the beaches are beautiful as well, clear water etc. I know it won’t be like the gulf side but is the water really that bluish clear color? We are big beach people that’s why I’m asking. I’m hoping to plan a trip down to nocatee in September or October.

    Blogs Are For Journaling Only

The chances of your party responding to you on this blog page? Nil.

If you need to just interact with another poster, then please use the Direct Message or Visitor Message to reach that person directly and personally (and more quickly). It beats wasting a blog post. Otherwise, I suggest replying on the main forum pages.

Then after you've reached out to your party, you can then share that experience and your results on these blog pages. Please bear in mind that these lesser-populated blog pages are for journaling only. Thanks.
