That said, why so rural? You might have an easier time in Olympia or Tacoma, both of which have many more job opportunities and youth communities for your daughter. Farmers markets, etc. I would say Seattle but real estate here is on fire and it would be hard to make it on even a great hairstylists salary. Bellingham is another great choice people have mentioned.
I was looking at Tacoma at first, we were actually there this past Summer to check the area out...my draw to first Port Angeles (though after lots of feedback realizing not a good choice for us) is being closer to the water, and I would like to be somewhere that is close to a city, yet not right next door (Seattle seems close enough)...we are currently 20 min from San Francisco. Yet I don’t want to be in the hustle that we’re in right now, to many people, to much congestion. I will look at the other places suggested as well...but that’s my reason, and I now have been looking at Poulsbo...is that rural?
