I sometimes think that trends are overstated, but curious about what others are seeing.
So? A CD Poll.

Two questions:
1. Are Granite countertops losing favor in your local market?
Yes or No, relating to your local market.

2. Please mark your personally preferred material(s) to replace granite, from the options mentioned in the article. You can mark more than one.

Any product which requires more maintenance and is expensive is nothing but a fad.

Kitchens on high end homes have such exotic materials that require so much cleaning and professional repairs are fads.

    Granite countertops
    Stainless steel high polished sinks
    White glass stove tops
    Cooper hoods

All look good only the day the house is sold.

    Interesting viewpoint.
    Thanks for expressing it.

I do tend to differ on Granite, though, as it is extremely durable, easy to seal once a year, and a long term favorite across most market pricing ranges.
