The Struggle is Real & I am too lazy for it

Posted 10-24-2016 at 10:39 AM by keraT

I found out I am lazy & that is my problem. I don't like struggle, I am not making progress in life not because I fear the challenge or fear what people will think or fear the uncertainty, actually I thrive in those. I love experimenting but what I don't like to do is STRUGGLE. I don't want to complicate life, I don't want to work hard, I don't want to make it difficult. But as Brendon Burchard said in his YouTube/podcast "The Pains of Progress"
Quote:
  • If everything were easy, none of us would grow.
  • If everything were easy, none of us would learn.
  • If everything were easy, none of us would ever feel alive.
It’s in that struggle, in the fight, in the challenge that we find real growth, that we find The Charged Life because you know what? A lot of people, they live what we call the comfortable life. Everything is fine, everything is great, everything is easy.

And then, at some point, someone says, “How is your life?” And they go, “It’s fine.”

And they say it knowing that something is missing. You know what’s missing?
The push, the challenge, the struggle, the growth that comes from those things.

So, are you going to struggle?
I am in that, "its too comfortable" mode but then my fear of struggle is preventing me to get to next level. This is why I stayed in same job, slowly progressing for almost a decade. People my age don't do that. This is why I have not lost weight in over a decade. I need to struggle, not make new goal but struggle to lose weight, struggle to be more productive and struggle to get sh1t done, not pile on more stuff

with out struggles, then your life would be terribly boring and you would start praying for adversity in your life!

achieving goals is pushing yourself to your fullest, and if its not, then your not trying hard enough...

dont watch your fellow man/woman pass you up in life, because you got stalled out, and cant face a little turmoil in your life.

embrace life, its for the living, and live life to the fullest, because when your old, all you will have is the memories of what you have accomplished in life, and if its nothing, then you will have been a failure, and your future will be dismal.

    I wish you well..
