Hello,
I previous submitted asking for advice, but was informed that more information is needed in order for me to receive some helpful advice. Therefore:
Currently I am living in Columbia SC with my 14 and 5 years old sons. I am an experienced teacher and department head for my area with a Master's degree in curriculum development. However, I am also a licensed claim's adjuster with years of experience in that field as well. With that being said, I desperately need a change in my surrounding, therefore I want to make a decision as to where to move this summer,so that I can prepare for the move by summer 2018. The area would need to either be hiring for teachers (which I prefer) or adjusters (insurance).
I am trying to be considerate of my sons grandparents by keeping the travel time to under 5 hours driving time. I would also like for the new area to have all four seasons, however I would prefer the winters to be mild. The cost of living is definitely something I would have to consider as well as the crime rate. I know crime is everywhere, however I don't want to put myself or my sons in the heart of the trouble.
Currently, we live in a very good subdivision in a 2 1/2 story home that did not break my bank account to afford, therefore I would like to keep them in a similar lifestyle of living that they are use ( as far as the housing is concern). Of course education is a concern for me, however it is also what you make of it.
Also, being that I am newly single, I would like to move into an area that offer plenty of things to do for both adults and children. I am in my late 30s-early 40s' range, therefore I am not old but I was never the person for the club scene. I would like an area that allow individuals to enjoy plays, concerts, activities in the park, and etc.. without breaking budget to afford them.
