Asian wisteria if not kept in check can lift a small building of its foundation. I heard of one in the south on the old show "Gardening by the Yard",with Paul James. The trunks can get as large as a tree. Imagine the vine coverage. I have one and trim all the new shoots down to the main branches. It then blooms every year . The rest of the season I'm trimming the darn thing.thank goodness for telescope pruners. No ladders for me.

I miss all the garden shows that were on HGTV. now they are all home remodels, DIY.

Oh Have I ever! We have kudzu, can you image the headache? Lord It's horrid to say the least. We have a local nursery here in our area and he told me about a spray to kill this nasty stuff that grows over a foot per day. I went to our farmer's coop and that spray has cross bones all over it. It's taking over our porches, sides of house and everywhere. This stuff should be outlawed.

We have a nature center and we've have to dig this stuff up by the roots to kill it. Then before it dries out and dies, it will try to attach roots back in the soil. We have started pouring diesel over the stuff and burning it as we dig up. Talk about aggressive, this mess is.
