Things shift as we get older

I've always been curious about how things work, I've always been techie in nature, how things work, how design of things could be improved what makes things tick, etc etc etc.
I've always scored an INTJ type every time I take the MB tests. I've taken them a few times and come up hardcore INTJ. I went to a seminar at work that was basically a watered down version of the MB test. It categorized people based on certain personality types and it was centered around how to talk to people of certains types and was just a basic all around improve communications type of deal. It was informative and somewhat interesting.
I think with all of the technical talk and things of that nature the last few yrs things have sort of shifted in me. I, for some reason, I just don't seem to care as much about techie stuff.
I used to sort of poo poo the arts, visual, creative and things like that. Now, I really seem to like the more "wordy" side of me.. I seemed to have embraced poetry, prose, words in general and how the language can invoke such strong feelings... music, visual arts, language... those were things that were just "fluff" to me but as of late I find that they are way more important to me that I ever thought that they would be
I think due to my "analytical mind" that I can see things and I have a knack for observing things that are ridiculous and can break observations down to things that can be funny.... I have always sort of been a funny guy, but I guess since I've really embraced the less technical side of my nature that I've really appreciated how word play and observations about the lunacy of life can produce funny comments... half the time these aren't scripted or worked out ahead of time... I'll just comment about things around me and I'll have Mrs. chow and my coworkers laughing.. .
Laughing is good stuff.... it's way more rewarding than trying to be the smartest guy in the room and laughter can pull people together...
I'm envious of those around me that have artistic talent. I have none of that... I can **** up a drawing of a stick figure and that really isn't much on an over exaggeration...
Mrs. Chow assure me that my comedy is something of an art form

She seems to be most of the time.....

I can connect with some of this--I'm INTJ, I think laughing is good stuff, and I used to make my living in tech--and do a lot of art when my job isn't hypnotizing me into "just one more thing to do."
I have some artistic talent but most of what I do doesn't satisfy me, so I bounce back and forth among various art-and-craft things. Words are really my thing.
Seems to me that you probably like creating portmanteaux, you know those words made up by pushing two other words together--if you enjoy wordplay and observations about life's lunacies.
