Received Tickets in the mail from Jersey City but was never there!!
Any info please!!! I recently moved to Bergen County and just the other day received tickets from Jersey City NJ. Problem is I was not there the day these were supposedly given?! They are for expired registration & no insurance. The car is sitting in the (private) driveway of mine since January and I did not re-register it due to I am selling it. Could it be a mis read of the license plate? I just dont get it....

Went to court, very lucky to get a parking spot right around the corner. I checked in, waited and was ready to defend my innocence to no end. There were a few other people that got tickets from the same area that the tickets sent to me were from. Each person had more than 1 ticket also. They were told 1 charge would be dropped if they pleaded guilty to another and paid $$... I still was not willing to do this, since I was never there and it was not my vehicle! So my turn with the prosecutor came and I started my defense with "I was never in JC" ....he said ok, you were never there? I said no...he said "ok no problem" "Dismissed" Here I was ready with my proof and such & it was that easy! I do thank God it was, but I truly wanted him to hear my side....
