Does anyone know what this area is like? Want to move out of Texas. Summers are way too hot here. How cold and how hot does it get there?

It is a fun little spot on the Oregon Trail within 4 hours of Salt Lake City, not far from Wells, Nevada

Simple living and interesting geologically...there's a fun waterfall nearby. Climate is nice and there's even a song about it by Ben Folds

Put it this way, I had a business trip out to Ogden, Utah and on the weekend before I had to do my work, I took a rental car out to twin falls for fun. I got some raw potatoes and ate them while driving into Wells, Nevada

Stopped for lunch in Nevada and lost 20 on blackjack, then drove back around to Utah, Wyoming, Green River, and then into Colorado and wound back around to Salt Lake

Driving in and around there is wide open space but fun and comfortable weather yes :)
