Trying my hand at this

I feel quite adventuresome, trying my hand at all this new stuff! Hope i don't mess up badly.
It's nice to have a place to write like this, isn't it? I must say that i LOVE the TN C-D forum... read it several times a day. Now that i'm officially retired
i'll probably be making a real nuisance of myself by posting so much. Anyway... thank you for reading this, hope some of you can respond so i'll know if i'm just talking to the clouds or not...lol. And thanks for befriending me... as i said, i'm newly retired and a little lost right now.

Welcome to retirement. Before you know it, you'll be loving every single unproductive minute! I know I do. I can drink coffee and daydream the days away without a problem.

Thank you, blue and Pam! I've already become addicted to the forum. I really enjoy reading about places where i grew up and am familiar with. I'm going to miss keeping up with it when i go on my vacation soon. I'm going to run to town on a few errands. Just got a call that Granddaughter took a fall at the daycare playground and I'm on call to pick her up if she shows signs of injury. She's probably fine, kids at that age (almost 3) get so many bumps and bruises that you wonder how they survive. But her mom is a little concerned, naturally. Since she is at work, I'll be the 'first responder'
