Everybody who moves to Florida thinks they will love it and moving there will improve their lives. They disrupt their life, relationships, and everything they have now and spend lots of money to move to Florida.
BUT:
From 2000 to 2009 a yearly average of
851,262 people moved to Florida
479,586 People moved out
Want to know why almost a half million people leave Florida every year?
AND, please read my gardening posts!

After having 3 posts deleted, the moderator patiently explained to me again what is advertising and what it not. Obviously I did not get it the first few times. I was told I can post about gardening for example, because I don't have a business related to that. A couple of weeks goes by.
So for whatever reason this thought pops into my head. I have a few spare minutes. I have attempted gardening on numerous occasions so why not write a blog about it? I do have a few soilly (not a real word) garden experiences to confess. Maybe this will lead to the most visited garden blog on the web! In a country where both George Bush and Barack Obama can be elected president one right after another, I can surely become the Google of Garden Blogs, as it were.
When I first moved to Florida many years ago, I noticed that many of my neighbors had gardens. I also noticed that the yard of the home I just bought and moved into, did not. When I first met one of my next door neighbors, one of the first things he wanted to know is if I had intended to put in a garden. I told him I didn't even think about that yet. His reply was "ya, the last people didn't have one either", as he walked away seemingly in disgust. I got the distinct impression that if I ever wanted to be fully accepted as part of my new neighborhood, I was going to have plant - oh, have to go, the pizza just got here. I promise to finish this riveting tale soon.
