Customer Service....when good....is good....

Posted 10-28-2011 at 03:10 PM by tanmctee

....do you get it?

If asked, most will say, they want good customer service and yet many will express how they have come to appreciate it rather than expect it.

Why?

In a world where most of us want good customer service, why does it seem to be so hard to find??

Why do those people who are in a position to "make your day" chose to act as if they are either superior to you or bothered by the fact you have requested their help?

How do they keep their jobs? I will never understand it.

And, what about them?

When they go in to a restaurant, need help with an account, check out at a register....do they expect good customer service?

I wonder....and, so I blog : )

I could not agree more! I have been looking for a job for a year and get the worst service everywhere with the superiority complex and wonder how these people keep their jobs without reprimand. I can go to the grocery store and use self check out and the machine doesn't recognize the vegetable or what not and the checker comes over and tells me it's supposed to be this code or what not?!#@ I am not a checker! Customer service is non existent anymore.

Work in a Big Box Store as a Cashier, and you will see why they dont go the extra mile for people.

The Public are rude, crude, expect too much, and demands to be paid attention to thier specific needs, even though there are a ton of customers behind them.

They monopolize your time, and then, if your not looking, they will try to 'get over' on you and steal something!

They bring their brats to disrupt the aisles, screaming and crying, because they are irresponsible parents, and the Store Personnel have to suffer with this.

They chase thieves out of stores, and, then Management fires them for going above and beyond their job, and endangering themselves. No win there...

When the Public starts showing respect, like the good ol days, then, maybe the store personnel will go the extra mile for them

    I wish you well
