School Buses

The money we are trying to save is going to cost us dearly in a small child being lost, (taken) in the longer walks to catch a school bus. I am appaled at the lack of concern for these small children, not every one has a car or the time to wait with the child for the bus. So we save on gas in the school budget and spend it looking for the lost child with police, dogs helicopters, police cars and the entire investigations that goes on for weeks, or months even years, because we cannot fork out enough lotto money to make sure our kids arrive safe to school. Shame on us for not crying very LOUD to those who we put our trust for our kids. I pray for safety for all those little ones I see alone at 7 am in the streets of Tampa

I agree..The little ones safetry should not be compromised for a gallon of gas..But then, I would not compromise my childs safety because it would make me to be late for work by a few minutes..My childs safety comes first, no matter what the cost..Posted 08-21-2008 at 07:06 AM by Miss Blue

I would make arrangements for whomever is responsible to be home for my child after school meets him/her at the busstop..I do agree that the school should also be responsible for my childs safety while on the school grounds and on the bus, and I would be protesting the long walks the children have to take..We are the taxpayers and they work for us.Good blog Tiny, I pray that your child and the others will be safe..Posted 08-22-2008 at 06:49 AM by Miss Blue
