3 days of madness.

Today was productive and counter-productive at the same time. I called Greyhound to inform them that I have a disablity and will need help at transfers with my luggage. I bought my ticket for Friday as well.

Well I got rid of a lot of furniture this afternoon. I gave most of it away and sold some others. I'm embarrassed to say I have more a mess now than before. I ran out of boxes and so to clear off the large corner desk we had to stack things on the floor. I kept a calm head and acted fast as they were taking a dresser. It turns out I didn't have it completely cleared out as I thought. One drawer had a few..."unmentionables". I quickly closed the drawer and asked the men to step outside the room for a minute.

Right now I am using a 'breakfast tray' for the laptop and sitting on the floor. Thankfully I still have the memory foam mattress to sleep on!

I'm not certain what day the internet server, RoadRunner, will come to pick up their box. I will post as much as I can. Of course I say that as I glance at the floor of my living room, which I can't see due to the clutter.

I never thought of myself as a packrat. However, as I look at this mess, there is no denying it. I now believe in that wise old saying: Move every 5 years, it helps cut down on the clutter!

I feel the moving pain Katzztar...we are moving from central FL to Las Vegas, NV which works out to be 2376 miles/4days and 4nights in hotels as our dog can only handle about 8hrs in the car before having an anxiety attack. We are selling everything that won't fit in our mid sized Nissan Sentra which doesn't leave much.
