Blanket of Faith
I long for your touch,
soft like the wind
against my brow.
You are not within sight,
yet I feel you engulfing me,
as the light surrounds my being.
Oh, my love, in my heart
time no longer exists.
I languish in your garden
watching the morning mist
rise from your still waters.
My ears can only hear your voice
carried on the breeze,
yet when I turn
you are not there.
I know you will arrive,
like the full moon
with your majestic procession.
So in this dream like state I wait,
cocooned in a blanket of faith.
