Just received my tax bill for my Lot in Sequatchie Pointe for 2008-2009 tax year. It states on the postcard that there are delinquent taxes showing for previous year. Last year I paid the people at JJ Detweiler a prorated amount, as I took title to the property a few months into 2007. They took my money and guess what, they didn't pay the taxes and now I'm in a delinquent tax situation! Please let me know if anyone else is in the same boat.

I would like to know how you found out about this. Does Marion the County have a web site where I could check my taxes too. I have paid them my taxes also and would like to check. If you have a receipt, send it to the county, you may be able to avoid any penalties. I will be paying my Taxes to the conty directly from now on just to make sure I don't get into your situation.
