A Good Lookin' Little Guy

These were the vet's first words when he came to check Bigun over. (I knew that!)
His checkup came out good, and now he has a rabies tag to go with his ID bone tag (selected for his home town of Bone Cave, TN).
As my glossy black, 10.1 lb Cocker Beagle prances out to the lobby, three LARGE dogs all take an interest at once. And he makes an immediate about face and beats feet back into the exam room. Had he not been so scared, it would've been funny. I had to pay for the exam with him wrapped around my neck!
Now, with the rabies tag on his halter, he's napping from the big adventure. This "new mom" is going to do the same. These midnight and four AM potty breaks outside are harder than I recall them being, eleven years ago.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

I can't believe that little bugger was afraid of other dogs, especially big ones. He's been in a house with tons of dogs, most of them bigger from birth! What a funny little man!
I told you he needed bathed, poor guy. Those shelter dogs were covered in stuff I don't want to think about, as I wound up covered in the same. They had fleas so badly, that John and I wound up with fleas in our clothes, our over night bag, etc. I'm covered in flea bites head to toe. It was beyond disgusting!
We just got settled in and I finally got a good night sleep last night. And I wound up adopting a dog myself from the shelter I usually pull from. I'll do a post in the dog section for all!!Posted 09-06-2009 at 02:44 PM by mrs1885
