family loss

so it was like any other day i got up did the usually but we noticed that our dog muneca wasn't acting like she usually does she was lazy and depressed we wern't sure what was wrong but scheduled an apointment for her at the vet they said just keep a close watch over her and we will find out what's wrong with her tomarrow so we did the best we could petting her hugs and kisses and seeing if she wanted a walk she loves taking walks but she just layed there and would do nothing all day long. the dog belonged to my older brother.he left to work that day as usually trying to be a strong tuff guy and think nothing of it saying his dog would get better soon. but as he was leaving i saw a pained and worried look on his face. which for me is very hard to endure seeing my brother look like that. well she proceeded to act the same all night long it way only till the early moring was she was drooling a lot but we had to wait till 8 to take her in finally the time came we took her in and they had confermed our worst fears she had parvo very deadly to puppys. he proscribed medicine and a fluqid medicine as well because that was all we could afford. so we took her home and set out a huge blanket to help her rest later on we left to the store to get her medicine but just as we neared the counter we got a call from our aunt saying to get home fast and forget the medicine for now. so we rushed home not sure what to think of what she said but hoping it wasn't to severe. as we get there we rush in our grandmother is in disbelive and we rush to muneca only to be confroned with her slowly panting and surrounded in a pool of blood. my aunt quickly called the animal hospital and told them the situation my brother was nealing by her with his back to us and as i leaned in to see what he was doing he was slowly stroking her fur and i saw tears slowly fall to the ground, i turned back to my aunts conversation on the phone hoping for good news only to be let down. it all seemed surreal my heart rate when up just looking at the situation and it seemed to be quiet extermely quiet as i hear her say so you think that euthanization is the best thing then? to end her suffering..was the last thing i heard before i myself went into a fit of tears i loved her a lot she wasn't my dog but she was special. my brother picked her out of a litter of puppys brought her home a week later and named her and everything. i remember when we went to vist him to be suprised by a puppy following his evey step. she took well to my own dog and they soon we sleeping soundly next to each other. a few mounths later our brother came to vist us to ask for us to watch over her for a few mounths while he finishes college i agreed happly to be able to take care of two dogs again. we took constant walks together we would walk throught town every two days which is a bit dangerous alone but she was so big in size for 7 months that many people walked away from me scared of her size and demeiner. we took her to the beach for the first time and she loved it. anyways as my brother lifted her up to take into the vet hospital i quickly grabed a sweater and followed as well. as we took her in it was hard hot to display my emotional upset. as we brought her in they said it was the best thing to do as they pushed in the surige it was the worst feeling in the world to know that she was no longer going to be with us. we spent about 5 minutes with her before we left seeing my brother hug her one last thing was really painful for me becasue he loved and cared for her alot and it pained me a lot to see him in pain for her as well. i still miss her a hole lot it's only been one deay since then yet it seems like others got over it way to fast then i did.
