'Stick Out Tongue' Emoticon Has Last Laugh At Execution

Despite the pleas for repentance from the victim's family members and the urges of his own unique and dysfunctional family, the 'Stick Out Tongue' emoticon stayed true to his self-styled fashion just prior to his execution on Monday morning.
Mr. Tongue was first arrested in May of 1979 for the brutal murder of the 'Hand' emoticon. Hand was found dead in his home after what appeared to be an elaborate sex game gone wrong. With Monopoly money and Hungry Hungry Hippo beads scattered everywhere, it became clear to investigators that it was a pre-meditated crime of passion.
After further questioning ensued, it was found that Tongue had enticed Hand into one of their favorite past-times... Playing Monopoly and Hungry Hungry Hippo for sexual favors. During the festivities, Tongue strangled Hand with a piece of dental floss and buried the body in his front yard.
Chief Investigator of the crime, 'Dubious" emoticon, first became suspicious of Tongue when he approached the house and saw a freshly dug grave in his front yard. "It was basically right there in plain view. He wasn't a very bright criminal. In fact, that pretty much sealed his fate from there."
After further questioning by Dubious, Tongue never cracked under pressure and, in fact, stuck his tongue out at investigators the entire time. "It was one of the most frustrating things in the world. Here we were trying to get to the bottom of things and all he could manage to do was stick his tongue out at us. We hit him with phone books, we slammed his head on the table and every time he'd look back up at us and stick his tongue out."
Things took an even stranger turn at the trial when Tongue took the stand. To everyone's shock and dismay, the only thing he did was stick his tongue out to the prosecution, defense and even the judge. He never uttered one word. Not ironically, when the jury read the verdict of guilty, he turned to them and stuck his tongue out. Even when the judge gave him the penalty of death his only reaction was to stick his tongue out.
After having spent the last thirty years in jail and being frequently beaten for sticking his tongue out at larger inmates, Mr. Tongue was put to death in the wee hours of the morning. The governor even set up a video teleconference to speak with Mr. Tongue about possibly giving him a stay of execution. Mr. Tongue's response? You guessed it. He stuck his tongue out at the governor.
As he was led into the lethal injection chamber and strapped to a gurney, the executor asked if he had any last words. To this, he simply looked over and stuck his tongue out.
The time of death was 0203. Mr. Tongue died with his tongue sticking out for all the world to see.
