Need help for relocation, please..

My husband and I will be moving to southern N.J. We're empty nesters, and would like to rent an animal friendly (we have a 10-year old lab), reasonably priced townhouse or house in a rural setting - or an areas with lots of trees, at least - within commuting distance of Gibbstown, N.J., preferably in Pennsylvania or Delaware. All I can find are the standard garden apartments on the web. Can anyone help us, and advise us about areas in the country? We don't care about malls, exercise rooms or pools, just a pretty view from the window.
Thanks.

I would like to retire to Delaware. I want to be close to the beach, shopping , restaurants and a good hospital. Also a university or college for my daughter. I want a really safe, stable neighborhood. A new subdivision would be great. Any ideas
