Waiting...

It seems to me that we humans spend a LOT of time waiting. We wait in lines at stores, the gas station, for something to begin on television, and we wait for people to show up.
Right now I am in the last category. I am waiting for my SO to return home after being gone for awhile (just a week). It has only been since Sunday that I last saw and talked with him, but it seems like longer.
Yet, I think about the last BF's I have had. M is the first guy that I have ever been in a long term relationship with that isn't involved in the military. That in itself is weird for me, in a good way. I am actually with a guy that spends more of his time home than he does away! I like it, I feel spoiled. It is different though. I'm so used to having M in town that when he isn't I notice it more acutely than when the others were gone.
And yes, I did love my former fiancee, and would have married him if things had worked out differently, so it isn't that I care about M more, it is just that our relationship dynamic is different.
So, now I find myself waiting for him and quite excited that he will be home in about an hour (last estimate). The hard part, I leave to fly to my hometown on Monday morning. I have to drive to the airport at 345am. We won't have much time together for the next week.
I used to go weeks, months, even twice I dealt with a 14 month and then a 12.5 month deployment. So, my friends wonder why these couple weeks are so hard for me.
I DON'T KNOW!
Yes, I love the boy and I hope that things work out for us. But, I find myself indescribably excited for M to return.
So I find myself blogging to pass the time. It is this or clean the house for the 3rd time today and well, that isn't necessary!![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
