Quiet Shadows....

Quiet Shadows....
Shadows define us... Both physically and personally... I consider my shadow a hero as well as friend... The shadow is there whether your happy, sad, tired, or just lost and scared.... As I sit here at my bedroom window and write this my shadow becomes a silhouette across my wall as the sun sets on the western horizon... It's so peaceful, the sound of the crickets, bull frogs and coyotes... This perfect setting makes me dreamy and I almost forget I'm here.... The shadow reminds me that yes I am here... I'm just so glad that the Lord gave me the chance to spend some time on his beautiful creation... I wrote this tonight as I contemplate where my summer has gone... I realize it's only early August, but September will be here before you know it... The sound of excited children for there first day of school and the rumble of a school bus on a brisk October morning really let's you know time has passed when your not on it anymore... Still that shadow stands by me since I was young and nervous... Quiet Shadows are a real blessing and can help you through the night if your alone or just worry some...
So when the dead of night is at your window and you have a full moon take your quiet shadow outside and embrace the luminous presence with your shadow....
