Spelling and Grahamer

Posted 08-08-2008 at 03:29 PM by GCSTroop

I couldn't never understand why people were always so adamant to admonish me in my younger years for improper spelling or grammer. I really dont think that it detracts from the overall meaning of what your trying to get acrossed. Do u? I mean, who cares what you right like, write?

I think that people typically look at others not based on how good they right but the concept of the bigger pitcher. Noone is perfect in this world and we all make a few mistakes here and there so it really shouldnt matter if I have a few mispeled words from time to time.

In addition to that, I don't also think improper grahamer should be held so, like, far above are heads and that english teachers should be so arrogant. Alot of jobs dont require that I have to be a perfect speller or english major to due the tasks I am required to due. So it shouldnt really matter.

I just dont get what the big deal is. I know when I fill out my job resume that there is plenty of people out there who have just as hard time spelling or writing grammerly. I think that pretty much puts me in with the rest of the crowd and thats a good thing because I want to be compared to the rest of the crows.

I reading a book the other day and I came acrossed one of my favorite pasages. For those who are inturested the passage is by Charles Dickens and go like this:

"It were the best of time it were the worst of times, it were the age of wisdom, it were the age of foolisness, it were the epic of beleif, it were the epic of incredulity, it were the season of light, it were the season of darkness, it were the spring of hope, it were the winter of despair, we have everything before us, we have nothing before us, we are all going direct to heaven, we are all going directly the other way." - A Tail of Two Citys

I thought he were one of the best righters of his times. I havent read many of his books. in Fact, I only was reading that opening line before I got bored with the book but that's because I just cant understand his stile.

Anyways, i'm really glad that you all everyone agrees with me. Their is so much to worry about in life that we shouldnt be trying to punish ourselfs over simple grammer and spelling eras.

Take Care and Buy!
